THE GRAND CANYON
🌎 Located in Arizona, USA and carved by the Colorado River, which has exposed nearly 2 billion years of the Planet’s geological history. It is 277 mi (446 km) long, up to 18 mi (29 km) wide, and over 1 mi (1.6 km) deep. 

ECOSYSTEM
🌎 Has 5 ecosystems: Boreal Forest (“Canadian”), Ponderosa Pine Forest (“Hudsonian”), Pinyon-Juniper Woodland (“Transition”), Desert Scrub (“Upper Sonoran”), and Desert (“Lower Sonoran”).
