🎬 Actions that use nature and healthy ecosystems to address the Extinction-Climate Crisis (biodiversity loss and climate change) and achieve 3P Sustainability (Planet, People, Prosperity).
WHAT ARE EXAMPLES?
🏜️ Land conservation for wildlife and human communities
🌳 Protecting ecosystems like forests, mangroves, salt marshes, grasslands, wetlands (“nature’s kidneys”), and coral reefs for shoreline protection, carbon storage, water purification, flood control, and habitat
🪵 Regenerative farming for improved soil, better productivity, and food security
🛖 Green roofs/walls for urban cooling, better air quality, and biodiversity
🛣️ Permeable pavement for reduced runoff and pollution
WHY DO THEY MATTER?
📕 Must meet global guidelines to ensure they are high quality and effective.
