"Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not." ~ Dr. Seuss

Dr. Seuss’ “The Lorax” is one of our favourite children’s books about sustainability and protecting the Planet for ourselves and future generations.

Key characters are the Lorax, the Once-ler, Truffula Trees (cut down to make Thneeds), Brown Bar-ba-loots, Swomee-Swans, and Humming Fish. You probably know the story, so we don’t need to repeat it here!

What matters is this story’s powerful message for kids and grown-ups, which is more important than ever:
🌳 There is an environmental crisis.
🙋‍♀️ It is caused by humans, including *businesses* that make unsustainable products and *consumers* that buy them.
⚠️The solution starts with individual consumers caring, speaking out, and taking action to stop and reverse environmental degradation.

There are many ways for conscious consumers to act, including:
✔ Buy Less, Buy Better, and
✔ When you buy, Vote with Your Dollar

Your spending decisions make a difference because they seed change by businesses toward 3P Sustainability.
